Breaking the Silence on Women's Health

Let’s chat about something that’s been brushed under the rug for way too long: women’s health. We’re talking about thos gynecological conditions like PMS, PCOS, endometriosis, uterine fibroids, and fertility issues. These aren’t just random nuisances; they’re serious, life-impacting conditions. And guess what? Conventional medicine often calls them “difficult to treat.” Frustrating, right?
You’ve probably heard it all before: “Nothing’s wrong with you,” or the ever-popular, “Here’s a pill, see you in six months.” Or even worse “looks like surgery is our best option”. It’s like a bad script we’re all tired of hearing. Most of these issues stem from hormone imbalances, but traditional medicine rarely addresses that head-on. Instead, we’re often handed oral contraceptives, which just mask the symptoms without tackling the root cause. It’s like putting a band-aid on a bullet wound.

How Can We Help?

So, how can we actually help? We start by looking at your entire life cycle—your menstrual cycles, symptoms, and medical history—with a functional and “Woman Wise” perspective. We ask the real questions: “How are these variables connected or out of whack?” and “What’s throwing your system off balance?” By understanding these connections, we can get to the bottom of the issues and help restore balance and hormonal health.

Our Approach

At Vitality FFM, we are all about being “Woman Wise.” We’re here to listen—not just to your symptoms, but to your whole story. We focus on the often overlooked aspects of hormone health, like your nutritional status, the stress-hormone connection, gut-hormone relationships, your body’s detox system, and cellular efficiency. Our protocols are tailored specifically to you, meeting you where you are and addressing your unique needs. Our goal? To help you go from merely surviving to truly thriving, empowering you to embrace womanhood with health, vitality, and confidence.

Consider This - A Word From Dr. Dockery.

Let’s consider this for a moment. How many times have you heard, “It’s all in your head”? This kind of dismissive attitude has plagued women’s health for centuries. The term “hysteria” actually comes from the Greek word “hystera,” meaning uterus. Ancient Greek physicians, like Hippocrates, believed that a wandering uterus caused a range of psychological and physical symptoms. Fast forward to today, and while we’ve made strides in medicine, disparities against women’s healthcare still persist.
Health disparities against women are rooted in historical biases and gender stereotypes. Women are often misdiagnosed or dismissed, with symptoms being chalked up to psychological factors rather than physical conditions. Conditions like endometriosis, PCOS, and autoimmune diseases are frequently under-researched and underfunded. Plus, women often receive inadequate pain management and are excluded from many clinical trials. It’s a systemic issue that requires increased awareness, research, and a commitment to gender-sensitive healthcare.
We’re here to change the narrative. By addressing these disparities and focusing on holistic, personalized care, we’re dedicated to making sure women’s health gets the attention it deserves. Because you deserve better.
Stay strong, stay healthy, and let’s thrive together.

Health & Life Coach
From an early age, I've had a passion to serve people and a deep sensitivity for the human spirit. Along the way, life also threw a number of health and auto-immune challenges my way early on, so I became personally shaped by the complexity of how our mind, body and spirit all function together. I'm deeply empathetic of how those challenges can become discouragements and places we get stuck in life, and I'm equally passionate about how beautiful the freedom we find can be, even and maybe especially when life isn't so perfect.

My experiences for the last 30 years in both helping and healthcare roles have naturally converged, taking that wisdom, heart and hope and now devoting the second half of my life wholeheartedly to people who are on their own journey of finding balance and fulfilment. My goal is to compassionately and fervently help you reach your goals!

I am currently completing my accreditation through the International Coaching Federation, and if you are a patient of Vitality, you'll get the added benefit of our work together including a health plan and goals designed and refined at every visit with your personal physician. It's absolutely within reach to experience meaningful change, so let's get started!

Dr. Amrit Dockery is incredibly knowledgeable in her field, especially in regards to health and wellness. She took the time and care to walk me through my results, as well as giving me a practical game plan on how I could work towards my health goals. She cares about true healing and getting to the root of the issue, not just putting a band aid on things. I have been incredibly blessed by her care.
